      Grass is green because of a pigment called chlorophyll, which is made by plants to capture energy from the sun.

      Yes, grass reflects blue and red light but it reflects green light which is what we see through our eyes.

      It’s the chlorophyll, the plant equivalent of blood. And it’s green.
