• Question: Why do goats have horns?

      They can be used for defence, for battling with each other and sometimes even used for gathering food like bark off trees

      They are an evolutionary advantage. Over time, horns proved so useful that goats that had them had more kids because they could fight for food when it was scarce, or defend themselves better when a predator attacked. Eventually, only the goats with horns were left.
