Probably bears for crushing things and elephants for moving things.
Alligators are fast and have very strong jaws, and have remained pretty much unchanged (except for getting smaller) since the Jurassic (200 – 150 million years ago).
I have no idea what the strongest reptile is, probably one of the constricting, crushing type snakes.
