Normal matter is all around us, it makes the stars, earth and nearly everything we know.

The different matters are discovered by theoretical physicists, who use mathematics and particle accelerators to smash particles together to see if any new ones can be observed from the collision.

I couldnt have answered this question like John because I have no idea! I think thats important to know though – even scientists dont know lots about the area of science they dont work in, so you never need to feel like you have to know everything!
