Meteors are smaller rocks that vaporise when they enter the atmosphere so that you just see a streak of light (a shooting star).

They are pieces of debris. When it meets atmospheric gases it heats up and so that’s why it can catch fire.

Meteors are rocks or glass from space that heat up in our atmosphere and glow very hot, this usually destroys the rock and very few make it to the ground.

Most meteors are only the size of a grain of sand.
